Kapari Natural Resort

Kapari Natural Resort is an intimate 5-star retreat in Imerovigli, Santorini, rooted in Cycladic architecture and contemporary calm.

Strategic Framework

The project focused on articulating a cohesive Brand and Communication System that translates architecture, atmosphere and spatial restraint into a unified experiential language.

The identity unfolds through a carefully structured material and communication system, where texture, ritual and proportion shape the guest experience from first contact to in-room interaction.

Foundational Emblem

The brand’s visual language builds upon the original Kapari Natural Resort logo — including both the wordmark and the caper flower emblem — exclusively designed and created by Natassa Kaloudi Adamidi, designer and co-owner of Kapari Hotel with her husband, Filippos Adamidis. The logo constitutes a pre-existing and independent creative work and is not part of the Brand System or Creative Direction developed by MatVat, having established the identity’s symbolic framework and conceptual foundation prior to the development of the complete system.

Material & Ritual Language

Building upon this established foundation, a complete Brand and Communication System was conceived and implemented across all touchpoints, translating carved forms, diffused Aegean light and restrained luxury into a coherent visual and material structure.

Printed collateral, paper, and leather selections, custom folder constructions with hand-stitched detailing, and wax seal elements introduced a subtle ceremonial dimension to guest interaction.

A newspaper-style menu format extended the narrative dimension of the brand into the dining experience. Guest-facing forms — including opinion cards (“Your Opinion Counts”) and in-room communication sheets — were designed as integral components of the brand voice rather than administrative documents. Operational print materials for reception services, such as luggage handling and laundry coordination, were structured to maintain tonal and visual coherence across both guest-facing and internal processes.

Where original brochure copy was unavailable, curated excerpts from verified guest reviews were integrated to preserve authenticity and align with the resort’s positioning.

“Do Not Disturb” objects and in-room communication pieces were conceived as experiential artifacts rather than simple signage — reinforcing silence, tactility, and emotional continuity throughout the stay.

System Application

The system extended consistently across printed applications, guest-facing objects, digital presence, and website structure, ensuring spatial and visual coherence between physical and digital environments.

Every element was developed to support a quiet, immersive hospitality experience aligned with the property’s architectural and emotional identity.
