While working on the book “Paul Valéry and the Parthenon”, I identified a hidden dedication (“ΠΡΟΣ ΧΑΡΙΝ”) embedded in one of Valéry’s original drawings — a detail previously unnoticed even by the archives of the Paul Valéry Foundation. The discovery was verified and acknowledged by the Foundation.
